Welcome - I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Jessica Masseke-Harvey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of WiseMind Therapy. I offer therapy for teens (15+) and adults who are ready to work through emotional overwhelm, trauma, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck—especially those who often look like they have it all together on the outside, but feel anything but calm on the inside.

Why “WiseMind”?

The name WiseMind Therapy comes from a core concept in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): the balance between emotion and reason. It’s that inner knowing we all have—the calm, centered place inside us that can guide decisions and relationships, even in the middle of chaos. I help people reconnect with that part of themselves, especially when emotions feel too big or out of control.

My clients are often:

  • Professionals or executives balancing high-pressure careers with inner turmoil

  • Teens and adults struggling with intense emotions or identity issues

  • People living with personality disorders, especially Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Survivors of trauma, including childhood trauma or relational wounds

  • Individuals who are tired of feeling like they’re “too much” or “not enough”

How I Work

I blend two powerful, evidence-based approaches:

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Whether you’ve done full DBT before or are brand-new to it, I incorporate DBT tools into our sessions to help with emotion regulation, boundaries, and building stronger relationships.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for trauma and stuck memories. Together, we can help your brain and body process painful past experiences so they no longer hold power over your present.

More About Me

I bring a grounded, real, and nonjudgmental presence to therapy. Clients often tell me they feel safe to be fully themselves—tears, laughter, intensity and all. But safety doesn’t always mean comfort. I’m also direct and straightforward, and I won’t shy away from challenging beliefs, behaviors, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Therapy with me is a balance of compassion and accountability. I’ll ask hard questions, offer honest reflections, and support you in stepping into real, lasting change. I’m not here to “fix” you—I’m here to help you understand and work with what’s already within you.

In addition to clinical therapy, I value authenticity and connection. I’ll always show up as a real human in the room with you.
